How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Pay to Play account directly from within the app. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Pay to Play app and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner to open your profile.
  3. Scroll down and tap “Delete Account”.
  4. The app will show you a summary of what will happen — including any sessions that will be cancelled and memberships that will be removed.
  5. If there are no blockers, tap “Delete My Account” to confirm. You may optionally provide a reason for leaving.
  6. Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted.

Note: If you have outstanding payments that need to be settled (e.g. uncaptured charges on completed sessions), you will need to resolve these before your account can be deleted. The app will inform you of any blockers during the process.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Profile information (name, email, phone, display name) Permanently deleted
Profile photo / avatar Permanently deleted from storage
Stripe Customer record & saved payment methods Permanently deleted from Stripe
Stripe Connect account (if you are an organiser) Permanently deleted from Stripe
Session attendance & waitlist records Permanently deleted
Push notification tokens & preferences Permanently deleted
Active sessions you organise Cancelled, attendees notified, pre-authorisations released
Sessions you are attending You are removed; waitlisted players may be promoted

What Data May Be Retained

Certain records may be retained for a limited period after account deletion, as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
